We are Lancashire and Cumbria HIEC
Lancashire and Cumbria Health Innovation and Education Cluster is a unique collaboration of organisations from across the region. NHS Trusts, Higher Education Institutes, and a large range of other stakeholders have partnered with an aim to improve the speed and effectiveness of implementing innovation and research outcomes into health education and practice.
Lancashire and Cumbria HIEC consists of 35 partners: 6 PCTs, 5 Acute Hospital Trusts, 2 Mental Health and Learning Disability Trusts, 3 Universities and 19 other collaborators. The partners operate through a managed network, hosted by Lancashire and Cumbria HIEC. The Strategic Board leads the direction of the HIEC and co-ordinates the work programme.
